The Song of the Earth...

Usually it is difficult getting me to read a book. But at present I'm half way through Song of the Earth by Alexander Cordell. A book based around life in the mid 19th century in the Vale of neath. Like i said, I'm half way through and feeling quite emotional. In the last two pages Bryn (the main character) has just recovered from Cholera, his sister Gwen died of it. And now they have just had a meal together and the eldest brother has just led Mari, to the top of the table and sat her at the place where their old Mam used to sit. ... sob sob...
